I find it very inspiring that a professor would actually throw themselves into the lives of their students to get their perspective. A lot of professors assume they know exactly how a college student's life works now a days, which this professor disproves when she realizes things are always changing. When she was in college things were much different than they are now. She also observed the same types of things I have, especially when it come to how students go about college life. Everyone is different in choosing what aspects of life, as a student, they will focus most on. There are so many different opportunities in college, so deciding which ones to go after and give your attention to is difficult. Observing all of this, the professor could walk back into her classroom with her questions answered and a new attitude towards her students.
